you have to be very precise and patient for still life. took an 1 1/2 hours for just two pictures. and I'm not even that satisfied with them. I'll revisit this task the next time i use the studio. Still life is all not that bad actually, you learn a lot about the lighting and suchand a shameless SP for threadless.

recently assisted/did a shoot with Seenless.I shot a few rounds with the H3D (39mp monster)I liked the results i got. but probably could've made them better.

saw Andrew Bird and Loney, Dear last night @ soma in san diego. the lady at the door gave me a hard time for my camera then i said it's film and she just let me in.so the pics aren't all sharp and digitalized and I wasn't the far back but I only had my 50mm.but they played some great stuff, Andrew bird does some looping pedals for his music, and has Dosh as the drummer and loop/multitrack guy

so i've been editing these sftc pics for the last three days now, and i'm not tired of it.probably because it's somewhat different for each one.different challenges and such.masking for soft skin tonesclean sharp backgrounds and stuff.toning down overexposed item parts.i don't think its very noticeable unless you put it next to the original picture.i'll be always more pics posting on flickr |

I went to a Model, Photographer, MUA meetup last sunday. It supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma society so it was all to a good cause.met some cool people.great models .and some great photographers as well.here are some of the pics. still have a lot more to process. yes i process my shots. and if you want to have a discussion about post-processing photos and your thought on it give me a holla.
